Andrew Webb's latest effect, 'Trick Tac' was released at this years Blackpool Magic Convention through MagicBox. The magician displays a prediction which is inside a sealed envelope. The prediction is placed into the magician’s pocket where it is visible for the remainder of the routine. He then hands the spectator an ordinary pack of tic-tacs and asks them to remove about a dozen from the box. The magician then asks the spectators to make a small row of tic-tacs containing a mix of orange and green. The magician then removes the prediction which correctly matches the spectators’ colour combination! The magician then offers to try something a little more difficult. The spectator is asked to take more tic-tacs from the box; this time keeping them hidden. They are further instructed to separate the orange from the green, holding one colour in each hand. Not only is the magician able to tell the spectators which hand holds which colour, he is also able to tell the exact quantities in each hand! It's a nice close-up effect that can be obtained directly from MagicBox for £7.99.
