Richard Young is one of our younger members, and at only 23, he's already made a name for himself in the world of Magic.

In 1998 when he was only 14, Richard won the 'Young Magicians Close Up Magic Competition' run by The Magic Circles Young Magicians Club. The more impressive part was that Richard had no professional tutoring before winning the competition. HCMS Member Bob Swadling took Richard under his wing, and has tutored Richard ever since.

Richard appears on the front cover and feature article inside todays edition of 'In Business', a supplement of The Oxford Times. Chris Hogan's article talks about Richards magic and the way he markets himself and his website.

Richard said, "I want to thank Chris for his hard work on the article and approaching me with the idea. I was delighted when Chris informed me that the Editor had decided to run with it as the cover story for the issue after reading the final draft."

Richard has also been working with someone he describes as 'one of the magic worlds best kept secrets', Philip Hitchcock. Richard has been discussing designs for a new illusion design, which Philip is well known for constructing.

Members can read Richard's profile on the inside members only section of the site, and those wishing to read the article should pick up a copy of Todays Oxford Times.
