Those lucky enough to have registered for the upcoming combined IBM/SAM convention in Kentucky next month will also be able to attend and bid on the auction of more rare magicana from the legendary collection of the late entertainer Jay Marshall, and for those not there, again bidding can be entered through eBay Live Auctions

Included in the sale will be Rare Houdiniana, including books, photos, letters and ephemera, Lithographs and broadsides of many of magic's "greats", including Professor Anderson, Dante, T. Nelson Downs, Germain, Thurston, Herrmann, Servais LeRoy, and more. A choice selection of antiquarian books by Dean, Maskelyne, Hooper, and others. Scarce vintage apparatus from both American and European manufacturers including P&L, Cardini and Brema. Ephemera, scrapbooks and substantial archives of printed matter relating to Cardini, Paul Rosini, The Zancigs, Dunninger, Harlan Tarbell, Howard Thurston, Blackstone Sr. and many, many more.

The auction will take place in Louisville, Kentucky, on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at 9:00 AM – the morning following the conclusion of the IBM/SAM 2008 Combined Convention. The auction will be held at the Galt House Hotel (www.galthouse.com).
