Carter Beats the Devil, is a book a lot of us have, and it's an excellent read with a good magical slant.
The book by Glen David Gold was originally developed as a feature film, with Tom Cruise rumored to be attached. Not ever getting it's big screen chance, the book has been turned into a smaller feature called simply "Carter" under exec producers John Baldecchi and Rich Silverman.
Baldecchi and Silverman are also developing the miniseries "Berlin Mesa". "Carter" is based about Glen David Gold's book, who's serving as a consultant on both productions. "The world of magic is always intriguing, and we felt this could be an incredible landscape you haven't seen on TV before," whether or not "Carter" will ever make it over to our screens in the UK is another story of mystery... |
