5th January 2012 - David Forrest - Additonal Meeting

Full 52 Productions. Close Up magic that 'thinks outside the box'. Innovative magic for all levels of performer.
This is an extra meeting which we are very fortunate to secure. David is appearing at the Magic Castle at the end of the month. Not to be missed.

January 19th 2012 - Lee Smith
|
Lee Smith is a professional magician and founder of walkabout magic, he has made television appearances on Sky TV and performed for many celebrities including well known actors, comedians, sportsmen and women and peforming backstage for stars at large festivals. High profile clients include Lloyds TSB, Vodaphone and the RAF. Lee specialises in Close Up magic.

February 23rd 2012 - Winchester Magical Society Entertains
|
We warmly welcome this visit by members of the WMC and plan to reciprocate in 2013. This could be the start of more exchanges with other magical societies.
Friends and family of Members will be welcome at this meeting. The WMC are bringing along ten members and we will be entertained close-up and cabaret style. There will be the usual raffle and refreshments will be available, thanks to our new "Refreshments Hostess".
Hope to see you and your friends at the meeting to both enjoy and support our welcome visitors.

March 15th 2012 - Andi Gladwin

This lecture will feature a selection of close-up tricks that Andi uses in his professional performances, a full stand up routine that fits in a brief case yet fills a stage and a brief talk on marketing for magicians. It also includes an introduction to the Master Pushoff and one or two select items from the Vanishing Inc. line.

April 26th 2012 - Richard Pinner
|
This is Richard's updated lecture 'Half Life 2'.This is a tricks lecture focussing mainly on highly performable material for most environments and a couple of things you would never do outside of a magic club! Richard will also discus his brand new "P.E.T." which is set to revolutionise the Cards to Wallet genre.

| May 11th 2012 - Annual Dinner and Cabaret |
This again will be held at the Sand Martin Golf Club. The 2011 event was a superb evening and we can look forward to another one for 2012 with an excellent dinner in very pleasant surroundings followed by a top notch cabaret which is currently under negotiation. |

Please note: Many of the lecturers who share their skills with us at HCMS are full-time professional entertainers lecturing to us at significantly below their commercial rates. Although the above events have been provisionally confirmed, lecturers do reserve the right to cancel their engagements.
